BACKGROUND

Water access is one of the most pressing issues of our times. In urban India, water scarcity plagues the population, and many people do not enjoy water scarcity, leading to a decreased quality of life and the creation of unhygienic conditions. Finding a solution to the problem of water access is essential for the continued existence of humanity. The amount of attention that we as a community have paid to water conservation has been too little in relation to the vital role that water has. Human beings cannot go on for more than a few hours of complete dehydration, and yet the conservation of water has not picked up the kind of impetus it should, especially in relatively privileged parts of the world where clean water supply hasn’t yet become a problem. I would like to make my own contribution towards bridging this gap by promoting the use of technology that conserves water and by continuing to spread awareness about the same.
